Vicki is an alumnus of Amberton University and Texas A&M University Commerce. Her journey began with a Bachelors of Arts in Operations Management with additional studies in education. As a public school educator for six years, Vicki gained insight into young minds and their unique needs. Her work both inspired and motivated her to further her knowledge and understanding through graduate studies in counseling. Vicki earned her Master of Arts from Amberton University in Professional Counseling. She furthered her expertise by specializing her training in Trauma Model Therapy through her work with the world-renowned clinician Dr. Colin Ross. Her experience as a therapist and interim clinical director in local addiction treatment centers and acute care facilities has a brought in-depth understanding of her client's needs in the private practice setting. Vicki is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Certified Trauma Model Therapist, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor.
While Vicki serves her clients she also provides supervision to new therapist interns working toward completing their professional counseling licensing. Additionally, she supports other therapists and facilities through providing consulting services in the area of trauma. Vicki is comitted to educating both trainees and colleagues about how to care for their traumatized clients and patients with the professional and ethical practice that the mental health profession demands.

Erica is currently attending Texas A&M Commerce, PhD Counseling program. She is an Alumni of University of North Texas where she earned her Masters of Education in Counseling with a community track. She furthered her expertise by expanding training and becoming a Certified Belief Therapist from The Therapon Institute, for those seeking spiritual or biblical needs. Erica's journey started with her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and pursued a career as an Admissions Advisor where she was promoted to Director of Admissions in Higher Education and Vocational Schools. She spent multiple years working with students of various ages starting as teenagers to adulthood from diverse demographics. She has a passion for education and helping others gain knowledge, which made counseling a great career transition.
Her counseling experience includes working in a Veteran Mental Health/Rehabilitation residential facility and Private Practice setting. Her skills include working with Career Counseling, PTSD/Trauma, Drug/Alcohol Residential, Intensive Outpatient, and Court Mandated clients. Issues often addressed include career problems, financial stress, relationships, behavioral problems, substance abuse/addiction, combat related PTSD, MST/Trauma, anxiety, depression, stress management, and anger management. She works with individuals, adolescents, couples, groups and families.
Erica loves helping individuals grow into their fullest potential, as they tap into tools that reside within. The goal for each client is to help them develop, the necessary tools and skills to reach emotional, spiritual and physical wellness. Each person’s journey to happiness is unique and may take a different length of time from something acute, being short-term to something more complex entailing a longer client and counselor working relationship. Erica's career experience has given her a natural ability to work with individuals, groups and families of any culture or background. Cody Ely is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern and board certified counselor under the supervision of Vicki Moody, MA, LPC-S, LCDC, NCC. He received his counseling education at The University of Texas at San Antonio, and completed his graduate-level clinical internships at a treatment center located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country where he gained extensive experience in a wide range of mental health and life challenges. Jane is a graduate of Amberton University earning a master's degree in Professional Counseling. Prior to completing her master's degree, Jane was a business professional with an interest in organizational management. Jane's undergraduate degree is in Biology from Capital University. She started her career as a secondary teacher. Jane has always been interested in helping others find their path to fulfillment. She believes each person has their own unique hopes and dreams, as well as challenges in mastering their thoughts, actions, behaviors and health to achieve their goals. As a counselor Jane enjoys assisting others on their journey.
Jane started as a therapist in an acute care, adult, trauma facility where she worked with patients dealing with dual diagnoses. Jane now focuses on patients in an outpatient setting. She brings into the therapy relationship a strong empathetic understanding for those who have endured physical and emotional trauma, and broken relationships.

Malton Cook Jr. is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor under the supervision of Vicki Moody, LPC-S, LCDC, NCC. Malton is a graduate of Amberton University earning a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to completing his master’s degree, he worked in various inpatient psychiatric hospitals and substance abuse residential treatment facilities.
Malton feels the first and most important aspect of counseling is establishing a therapeutic relationship with the client. Once a therapeutic relationship is established, Malton believes he can assist clients in working toward achieving a greater degree of independence, leading to growth. Malton believes that everyone's personal life experiences assist in defining who they are. Additionally, he believes clients and therapists collectively make efforts to identify potential areas in a client’s life for change.

Kristi DuCote is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern who began supervision with Vicki Moody in May 2015. Kristi is a graduate of Amberton University earning a master's degree in Licensed Professional Counseling (4.0 GPA). Kristi has also earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice from The University of North Texas. After graduating UNT in 1992 and working several years in the fast-paced business world, Kristi made the decision to stay home and raise her children. In 2011, Kristi decided to return to school to earn her MA and pursue her lifelong calling to help those who suffer with mental illness.
Kristi is currently working part time at Garland Behavioral Hospital doing inpatient group therapy and patient assessments for their intake department located at Baylor Hospital in Garland, Texas. She previously worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital in Dallas with adolescent females as a therapist doing individual and group therapy, treatment plans, and discharge planning. Kristi has also spent time as a therapist working with incarcerated females at a residential substance abuse facility. She fulfilled her practicum requirements working in a psychiatric hospital ICU where she gained valuable experience working with adults in an acute care environment.
Kristi enjoys leading groups as well as individual and family counseling. Kristi offers an eclectic approach to therapy and loves to mix proven evidence based theories like CBT with existential approaches. She believes that everyone has a purpose in life and helping people discover their purpose or plan to fulfill their purpose is so rewarding.
Kristi is both a mom and a step-mom. She has been a stay-at-home mom as well as a member of the workforce juggling work and family life. Kristi has been happily married for over 25 years. She was personally drawn to the field of psychology because of her firsthand experience with mental illness and addiction in her own family.

Jovaria Baig received her Masters of Science degree in Counseling from Texas A&M University- Commerce. She is also currently a doctoral student getting her Ph.D. in Counseling from Texas A&M University- Commerce. She has had experience working with students in higher education ranging from ages 12 and above. She is currently working with children 5 years old, adolescents, adults in a psychiatric hospital, and clients recovering from substance abuse issues. She is doing her dissertation on marriage and family, and emphasizes her specialty with different populations. She has seen several students with anxiety issues, depression, domestic violence, PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, insomnia, test anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and cultural issues.

Jacqueline Avalos received her Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology in 2013 from Argosy University and has been providing substance abuse and mental health counseling ever since. She is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern who has a passion for those suffering from trauma, chemical dependency, and family issues. She enjoys serving those who cannot help themselves and is a very laid back comfortable person to be around. She practicesEMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) because she trusts it and wants the best for her clients. However, she does incorporate other modalities of therapy in the learning process to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Systems, and Individual Psychology.
